In 2007 rare Saxon jewels, thought to belong to a princess, were found in a grave near Loftus. It is hoped these artifacts will be kept locally and on the 22nd January 2008 this was debated in Westminster Hall by our M.P. Dr. Ashok Kumar; to read his debate click link below.
